A dedication to the Mother’s who raise us, and those we are learning to become.

To celebrate a very special Mother’s Day as the White Story family continues to grow, this year we marked the occasion surrounded by a few of the women who teach us so much. Over conversations between generations, we discussed the lessons we hope to pass down, those our children teach us, and our hopes as Mother’s, and as women, for the year ahead.

On behalf of White Story Creative Director Fiona Myer’s foundation, Shirts on Backs, 10 percent of retail sales from cashmere sweaters sold on May 7th and May 8th will be gifted to the Salvation Army, to support their homeless programs. A small gesture to the collective strength of all Mother’s, not just today, but during the seemingly unnoticed moments too. 

What lessons do you hope to pass down to your children?
“To treat people the way you would like to be treated. Above all to be considerate and kind.”

“Cherish every moment with over ones. Life is too short to hold grudges, if you hurt someone say sorry!”

What can our children teach us?
“The state of the world has no bearing on their sense of adventure, desire to learn or ability to love. They have made my heart want to burst a million times over and I hope I’ll never lose that feeling”.
